Subtor has years of experience in the production of progressive cavity pumps. Our factory is outfitted with NC rotor spiral milling machines, polishers, test platforms, automatic soldering manipulators, and other high-end equipment. Due to all of these things, our production capacity is outstanding.

Equipment model: PS1000. The five-axis NC spiral milling machine was imported from Germany to process single head, double head, and multi head rotors, connecting rods, and other spare pump parts. The machine can also produce helicoids in various shapes. The maximum machining length is 10,000mm, the maximum workpiece diameter is 300mm. 11 helical surfaces can be machined at the most.

The linear axial precision and repositioning accuracy are within 0.001mm. The machine's maximum spindle linear speed is 50m per minute with a max. torque of 2100NM. Its incremental rotation precision is 0.00083 degrees, and the spindle's rotary speed tops out at 1100rpm.

The programming software used in the research and development design stage of motor production, is developed in-house by Subtor Germany. The technology is used to process and measure single or multiple head rotors and connecting rods of drilling mud motor power stations, progressive cavity pumps and downhole progressive cavity pumps. The equipment guarantees the machining precision of our equipment and results in higher quality cavity pump rotors and components. It allows for a meshing rate that surpasses 90%, ensuring the quality of products and improving their overall service life.

Rotor surface polishing machine
This polishing machine is designed to process the surfaces of our rotors with a 1000mm maximum processing length and 180mm maximum workpiece diameter. It creates a fine mirror effect and increases resistance to fatigue by more than 30%. It also improves rotor wear and corrosion resistance by over 50%.

Equipment model: CA6140A-1500. With a maximum machining length of 1500mm, the lathe is specially designed for machining all kinds of shaft and disc parts.

Equipment model: CA6140B/A-1500. The lathe is mainly used to process small size rotors. The maximum processing length is 1500mm.

Equipment model: CW6163C-5000. This model is primarily used for lathing shaft and disc components. It has a 5000mm maximum machining length.

Equipment model: CW6180C-6000. The rotor lathe is mainly used to process common rotors and features a processing length up to 6000mm.

Equipment model: CAK50135i-1350. Used primarily for lathing shaft and disc components, the NC lathe features a maximum machining length of 1350mm.

Progressive cavity pump test station
The test station is made up of a test water tank, connecting pipeline, electric control cabinet, pressure gauge, and a flowmeter. The whole station allows for high precision performance testing and flaw detection for products prior to leaving the factory.

Downhole progressive cavity pump test station
The downhole progressive cavity pump can simulate real world application environments. To carry out the performance experiments on the downhole progressive cavity pumps produced by Subtor. Under set speed conditions, the torque and flow rate of the pump used in various pressure points are carefully tested. The corresponding performance curves can be determined and charted.

Two-heads automatic girth welder
The two-heads automatic girth welder features a maximum machining length of 1200mm and a maximum workpiece diameter of 30mm for girth welding. The machine offers two kinds of welding methods: argon arc-welding (for stainless steel workpieces), and carbon-dioxide shielded welding (for low-carbon steel workpieces). Automatic welding machines increase the welding quality of the workpieces and welding seams are more consistent and stronger.
