BP Class Progressive Cavity Pump

  • BP Class Progressive Cavity Pump
  • BP Class Progressive Cavity Pump

Applications
The BP class progressive cavity pump is constructed with a backpack pully drive structure that is designed to reduce the direct impact of axial load forces onto the motor when making equipment adjustments. This type of pump drive features additional smoothness. The pump can transport any medium, including water, with a solid content 45% or below. These pumps are often used in oilfield, sea water platforms, and other oil and gas transport applications.

Working principle
This progressive cavity pump is a positive displacement pump, which relies on the interference fit between the rotor operating in an eccentric motion and the fixed rotor. The seal cavities are not connected and through the rotation of the rotor inside the stator, the seal cavities are moved axially form the inlet to the outlet. This realizes the transportation of the medium with a high level of consistency and power.

Rotor
Each pump rotor can be processed in our machine shop according to your requirements. The rotor can be surface hardened or vacuum heat treated to increase hardness and other properties. After treatment, the harndess level can reach HRC 65-67.

Stator
Material: NBR, NBRH, HNBR, EPDM and FKM can be selected depending on the properties of the working medium and operational conditions.

Universal joint
A variety of universal joint transmission parts are available to choose from: Pin type, pin sleeve, hygiene class, flexible type, ball tooth type, and cross pin type universal joints to handle the various torque transmissions and axial loads.

Shaft seal
Packing seals or mechanical seals are available for you to choose from depending on your requirements. Cooling and washing systems can be added in order to extend your machine's working life.

Driving system
SEW, NORD, ABB and other high quality driving systems are all available.
